Working with Matt for our girl Nacho was the best decision we’ve made for her! She was constantly in a fight or flight every time we left our house with her. With Matt’s guidance, we have been able to ease her stresses while being out, making walks more enjoyable for us and her! We can freely take our pup to dog friendly environments and know that she trusts us and knows it’s okay! She is no longer barking out the window at every squirrel or person who walks by, guests can come over without being jumped on, and Nacho overall has a confidence level I never thought I’d see in her! My husband and I joke that Matt “trained us”, which is kind of true, as he gave us the tools and guidance to allow us to help Nacho reach her greatest doggo potential! Matt was patient with Riley me! He gave me the tools to build a happy, safe and respectful relationship with my dog. Walks are more relaxing for both of us and he is socializing with other dogs! My dog was always pulling on the leash, barking at strangers, and jumping at anything exciting: dogs, squirrels, bikers, you name it. In a single session Matt got my dog loose-leash walking and way less reactive. By the end of the 10th session, my dog doesn’t try to steal food, is much more calm when visitors come over, and has such good recall I’m able to have him off-leash in parks. Matt taught me how dogs think and I feel way more connected with my dog now. After the course, I’ve asked Matt a few questions over the years and he’s always taken time for me despite me not being an active client anymore! I recommend Matt to everyone
