Very nice wide gravel trail with great view of the river from above.
Nice, calm park. A lot of different mushrooms. The best place to escape and spend time one on one with nature and your thoughts.
Beautiful place! Glad we got to see the Bluebells! Can’t wait to go back in the summer and see everything GREEN!
Favorite trail in Shenandoah river state park, its moderate, with nice views. There is a visitor center with plenty of different things, great spots for picnics.
Trail located at the Shenandoah State Park. Great for hikers and mountain bikers.
I’d classify this trail and those interconnecting (there are many) as light moderate to moderate. Some inclines but mostly flat. The best part was hiking the river trail. Lots of awesome views along the river and many elevated viewpoints for a nice panoramic view of the mountain range and the river. We didn’t hit all the trails but those that we did were superb. There is a visitor center for souveniers and keepsakes. Drinks and snacks as well. Trails are well marked and easy to navigate. Would visit again.
