Heritage Park Dog Park is a popular spot for local dog owners, offering two spacious, fenced areas designed specifically for small and large dogs. Conveniently located at 100 Park Ave in Belton, Texas, the park provides a clean and relaxing environment with benches, shaded spots, and plenty of open space for dogs to run and play. Recent improvements include better grass coverage, reducing mud, and a consistently maintained environment that’s appreciated by regular visitors.
The dog park features water fountains in both sections (though they can be off occasionally, so consider bringing extra water), poop bags, trash bins, and some agility obstacles like a fake fire hydrant. There are also benches and shaded awnings for owners, making it a great place to relax while your pup plays. With separate areas for large and small dogs and nearby pet-friendly trails, Heritage Park Dog Park is perfect for dogs of all sizes and energy levels.

Heritage Park Dog Park is good overall—seems like it’s still under construction, so it might get better over time. It’s clean, which is a big plus, and there are a few shaded spots with benches where you can sit and relax. My puppy has a blast every time we go, so it’s definitely a win in his book!

Back and running after the tornado. Perfect place to take fur faces. All dogs we’ve encountered have all been friendly. Plenty of space for them to run and play.
