The park sits at a crossroads of some of the region’s best dog-friendly hiking and walking paths, making it a favorite for those seeking pet-friendly trails in Belmont. While there isn’t a dedicated fenced dog area, leash-required walks are enjoyable thanks to paved trails, abundant natural sights, and convenient amenities. Kids and families can appreciate the trails’ gentle terrain, access to public restrooms, and nearby ice cream shops—making it a great outing for all ages.
Good parking. Restroom except off season. Good access to White Pine Trail, Rogue River Trail, and Rogue River Park. Plus ice cream across the street near Belmont.
Nice parking area plenty of parking spaces. Very clean rest rooms. On the White Pine trail and Rogue River trails.
Great place to bike, run, or walk. There are hiking trails and the white pine paved trail. It is the nicest 6 mile stretch of the entire white pine trail if you head north from Rogue River park to Rockford.
Great trailhead for walking, running, or cycling on the WhitenPine Trail. Or for access to northern Kent County roads that are friendly to cyclists. The restrooms are clean and accessible.
White Pine trail, beautiful, lots of birds and plants and a nice walk on black top. I did not know West Michigan had blooming cactus, I’m certainly coming back to check that out.
