I recently hosted an event of over 100 guests in the back room, and everything was fantastic. The planning process was seamless, the service was excellent, and everyone loved the space and the beer. Bakes is a nice new brewery in Belmar. There is a cute outdoor seating area in the front, and plenty of seating inside as well. There was a live musician on Saturday afternoon when we went, and the overall ambiance was great. The only things to note are that they don’t serve any alcoholic drinks other than beer, and just a few non alcoholic options, and there is unfortunately no food menu. However, I’m hoping that they add both eventually.
Beautiful place. Number 1 brewery in this area. Customer service was great, very CLEAN, all beers was hazy, I WOULD RECOMMEND FOR AMYONE TO TRY THIS BREWERY 😀 😄 👍🏽
I enjoyed Bakes. A large tap room with two distinct sections. The brighter and more finished front section and the darker and less finished back. The back reminded me of that cool basement hangout your friend had and everyone hang in. Tap list was IPA heavy but my non IPA drinking girlfriend had beers she liked. Two bars to make waiting in line very minimal. Staff is friendly.
Large space, excellent design, decent beer, what’s not to like. Pretty big parking lot for the area and east to find. Good size outdoor patio and expansive indoor area with multiple bars and seating areas. Great beer selection, I tried the bob lager and Krush daddy, both were serviceable. Lots of great restaurants around so grab dinner and come by for a tasty brew with some friends, you won’t be disappointed. Overall great experience, staff was friendly and attentive. Lots of merch if that’s you’re thing and even a back area with TVs and a popcorn machine. Excited to see this place grow!
