Adam D. Rand Memorial Trail in Bellmore, NY is a dog-friendly, wheelchair accessible park featuring a scenic loop around Mill Pond Park. It offers plenty of shade and is a tranquil spot for picnics, bird watching, and fishing, with a unique hidden Gnome village and memorials along the path. The park is well-maintained and great for dog walking and family visits.
Good for dog walking, but watch for the “spiked orbs” dropping from gumball trees.
Nice place to take a break for a while, Plenty of shade. Does a loop around the Mill Pond Park. Beautiful spot to eat lunch. There is a little hidden Gnome village off the trail. You will see other memorials along the pathway. Very clean. No off street parking. People fly fish here for trout. Great bird watching location. Good spot to people watch. Dog friendly.
