How deep is this water I’m really interested

Been going here for years…way before they started charging you to get in. NULL for a “season pass” for out of towners is beyond absurd. I refuse to pay for it and will wait for the gate keeper to leave before I go in. They are only there for a few hours each day. There has been absolutely nothing done there in over 15 years. No bathrooms. You get a port a potty. BUT the lake is nice and small and refreshing. Crowd is pretty small on most days. There are a few picnic tables. No lifeguards which I like because you can bring your floats in the water and relax. It’s my happy place after the gate keeper leaves lol. You can buy a day pass for NULL bucks. But good luck trying to buy it online…..always kicks me out.

It’s a secret don’t tell anyone. I swim in the lake till maybe mid July. After July, the water is typically low and not enough flow. Mt. Bike on the trail next to the entrance gate and have a swim after a ride.

We had a nice low key “beach day” with the kids. The swingset is nothing extravagant but the kids liked it. The sand was clean and the water was clear and cool. We were able to see the little schools of fish that gathered to check us out as we had a picnic near the water. There are several tables just off of the sandy area.

This is usually where I go when I want to hide. Just float in the water and completely relax. It’s where I feel most comfortable. It usually is an extremely busy and that’s perfect for me. I like it quiet.
