Came across this park finishing up my 20 mile CHAIN OF LAKES challenge! A big park that offered plenty to do right in the town. Loved the new kayak launch as well!
I grew up here so I hate to give it 3 stars but holy sweet baby Jesus nothing has been updated in 20 years. For as rich as this county/town is you’d think they’d spend a few bucks for the kids. Just my opinion. Still a great park…could use some TLC 🙏
Beautiful park to walk. Nice new Kayak livery, and a great place to start paddling the chain of lakes.
This park has it all! Recreation facilities including B-ball courts, skateboarding ramps, tennis courts, playground area, swimming area with a small beach and a dock with a kayak/canoe launch along the Chain of Lakes water trail. Bathrooms are clean but Ladies room is missing its sign, Men’s room is on the other end of the building. Walking trail & picnic pavilion. Ample parking.
Visiting from out of state, this park was the perfect slow pace for our kids ages 2 – 10. The wooden train is so cute and I love the small town vibes. Saw a deer near the water from the bridge. Beautiful!!
