This was my first visit to a dog park with my 7-month pup who had just gotten neutered and needed to run it out after his recovery period. I’d heard that the Ma & Pa Dog Park was recently renovated but have never been here before so I can’t speak to its state before the reopening, but currently the place is pristine. The entire area is surrounded by sturdy fencing, separated into a section for large dogs and a smaller one for small dogs (30lbs or less is what the sign recommends). It’s also well appointed with park benches, water bowls, fountains to refill them, and a dispenser for poop bags. The large dog park also has a shade pavilion, but someone had draped a tarp over some of the fencing in the small dog area so the little dogs can have some shade too. The dog parent community really takes care of the place, and it shows.

On a weekday after lunch there were only a few owners and dogs there, and my dog got to run around with a couple of new friends. It was perfect for a low key first visit, but I can see it getting really busy in the evenings and weekends.

Beautiful park. Plenty of area for dogs to run. Sectioned off area for smaller dogs. Running water and plenty of balls for the pups to play with. Shaded area with benches for comfort.

🐾 Dog Park Delight! 🌳🐶

Oh my paws, folks! Let me tell you about the PAW-sitively fantastic time I had at the dog park. 🐕‍🦺 It’s a pup-tastic paradise, where tails wag and hearts melt.

The lush, green backdrop provides the paw-fect setting for your furry friend to frolic and fetch. The four-legged pals, big and small, create a vibrant, tail-wagging community that’ll warm your heart.

But wait, there’s more! 🐾 The water fountains are like a hydrating haven, and don’t even get me started on the treats – they are a barking delight! 🦴

So, if you’re looking for a place where your fur baby can strut their stuff and make new furry BFFs, this dog park is the place to be. 🐾💕

This is a great spot to let your dog burn some energy, make some new friends!
Visitors aren’t very pleasant they don’t all clean up after their dogs! Yesterday I found several people had tied their dogs poop bags on The fence and left them!!! WHY???
The county set aside a nice place for our fur babies and yet some find it unnecessary to clean up after their own pets! I would love to be able to go without having to dodge the landmines!!!
PLEASE be kind and courteous and clean up after yourselves so the rest of us can enjoy it without worry!

First time here! Lots of dogs for my baby to play with! It is kinda muddy though after it rained the other day. My only gripe was another dog was chasing a smaller dog and seemed to be bullying her and the owner did nothing about it, to the point that the other owner was forced to take her dog to the small park until that one dog was gone. Not everyone is watching their dogs or seems to care what they do. Most of them did but one or two people didn’t but I guess you’re going to get that anywhere. Bring water and a bowl!
