Beware of ticks! My husband, my dog and I walked an unpaved trail and came out covered in ticks. We have found ticks on ourselves and the dog after walking in the field where the Farmers Market has parking. Stay on the paved sections. Also…lots of mosquitos because part of the park is wetlands. So…even though the park is a bit buggy…it is a very lovely place to walk the dog or bike ride and we go often. Dog Park: We have utilized the dog park and have found it clean and accommodating, our dog just doesn’t care for dog parks.

Took our dog to the dog park, and it was nice and clean. Other dogs were friendly. Pretty big parking lot, too. There’s even poop bags and hand sanitizer by the gate.
