One of the best hikes around this area. Free, but please donate to help preserve the park. Plenty of parking, bathrooms on site, maps available at the entrance. Easy hiking trails with lots to see!

Rugged, challenging trails that follow the Mianus river through several miles from waterside to crest. Preserve naturalists conduct excursions into parts of the preserve nit usually seen, or on nature quests (including recent night treck looking for (and finding) owls! No dogs allowed. Closed Dec 1 to Mar 31. I love exploring these trails!

A very nice low-key hike along the river. The trail was easy enough that my toddler was able to walk much of it unaided.Very well maintained and impeccably clean bathrooms at the trailhead.

This is a wonderful preserve for hiking. The hiking isn’t too challenging, but there is some up and down so be prepared. The outdoors are beautiful with lots of rocks and flora. Highly recommend.
