Beautiful but do not follow navigation app directions. Drive down Guard Hill road until it becomes a dirt road and bears left. You will come to two wide spots in the road with trail signs, on your left. The second one is the entrance to the Guard Hill Preserve. Also note, it is a one way trail, not a loop. But gorgeous and peaceful.

A gentle snowfall made this morning walk an enjoyable experience. I loved seeing the horses grazing nearby. Very soothing place.

Easy hiking, well maintained trails and good birding. It is free, parking is alongside the road, the trail is not very consipicuous.
