Looking for a spacious and dog-friendly park in Beaverton, Oregon? The Greenway Trailhead- Fanno Creek Trail offers a large open area perfect for off-leash fun, making it a favorite among local dog owners. While not fully fenced on all sides, the main off-leash area features barking-chip surfacing, benches, and is located within a larger community park known for its walking and pet-friendly trails. This spot is ideal for both socialized play and getting out for long, scenic walks on the extensive Fanno Creek Trail system.
Unique features of this dog park include a community-focused vibe, occasional water availability provided by volunteers, benches for seating, and dog waste bag stations. While there used to be a separate area for small dogs, the divided gate has been removed and now the space is combined. You’ll find plenty of shade, picnic opportunities, memorials, and ADA-accessible amenities around the main park. Note that lighting is limited at night and the park is not fully enclosed—all important considerations for your visit.

The supervisor was respectful and apologetic.
