This is an absolutely beautiful little park with great walking trails! Fantastic place for photography or a wedding. It give rustic vibes and a forest nature. A couple of weeks back, I took a friend here. As I was walking to the butterfly garden a woman in a car mentioned the butterfly room was open. There was a woman by the door. I asked if we could enter and she obliged. She was teaching us the different stages of a butterfly. Then explained they help the population as a very small percentage make it in the wild. Where they have a much higher chance as they were there. She told me they were going to be releasing them soon. We talked some more, then she decided to ask us if we wanted to release the two that were ready…I released a butterfly 🦋 ❤️ it was really awesome!! Definitely an experience of a lifetime!

If you love being in nature, you will love this place. Very nice hiking trails and beautiful flowers. I could of stayed all day watching the butterflies flutter around the flowers. There are places to sit, so it would be a great place to bring a picnic. There is a pavilion and a few swings for the kids.

Absolutely love coming here, it’s a great place for a picnic or a nice hike, the trails are more extensive than I had originally thought. The pond features fish and frogs, there are swings and a visitor center for the kids to come learn a bit about PA wildlife.
