I wish there was at least a water spanking.I would supply a pool… Anything, it’s just a fenced in grassy area. The park is lovely.Mind you more suited for children, Lovely playground but nothing for the dogs to play with set up some sort of cheap agility course or something…anything?
I drive to Burton because of the swimming hole…
Which is why there’s more dogs to socialize with

Park looks like it doesn’t get maintained well and my dog got hurt after barely being there for 15 minutes. On top of that as I was carrying her to the car, I found a tick on her! Don’t think I’ll be going back. Pet owners don’t keep an eye on their dogs. Park is dusty and dirty. Weeds everywhere. Better off going to the dog bark by burton wells or bluffton

Great dog park. Big and small dog areas fully fenced – both sides are very large. Both sides have grass though the small dog side is more Lush and lawn like than the big dog side probably because the big dogs run around more. Parking is right next to the dog park and there’s plenty of it. There’s fresh water for the dogs, places to sit for dog owners and shady spots, as well. For the most part people seem to pick up after their pets here. My Westies love this place. The park seems popular with locals so there are usually numerous dogs at any given time. The dog park is located within a bigger park (for humans) – there are paved trails where you can walk your dog, as well and big trees with Spanish moss are everywhere. Have been here numerous times and people and dogs have always been friendly.

Very nice, wide open spaces with plenty of shade; water fountains for people and puppies provided. Nice, new bench seating. Zero issues with anything in a long time. We really enjoy it here!

Long ago: We weren’t even able to get into the dog bark with getting a thorough barking at by a half dozen small dogs. We got in to the bigger dog area and were surrounded. Too much, too many, too close. My dog felt way too threatened.

We went walking away from there in the open spaces but were viciously and obnoxiously berated by 6-8 small dogs both in our going and our returning. The owners don’t care at all if that behavior. It’s bizarre to me that a culture like that exists there pretty often. Usually it’s a very friendly place, both dogs and owners.

First time visiting, will be back for sure. Energetic boxer puppy had a run for his money hanging with the big boys amd girls. Plenty of room to run and friendly crowd.
