Mud hole at entrance need concrete in plus need completely separate entry for small dogs away from the big dog entrance. Also needs better hinge system for gates. Fremont has a wonderful pet park it is paved going into park plus a nice sheltered picnic table plus they have signs saying small dogs only and big dogs only trash cans at each area
Dogs aren’t particular so my dog loves this place to be off leash and snoop. Since he doesn’t do well with other dogs there is ample opportunities where we can be the only ones at the fenced park. There is a large and a small fenced area that is separated which is great. There is water available for the dogs. Picnic table and bench to sit on and dog poop bags available most of the time.
Areas that could be improved is the entrance gate area that turns into a big mud puddle every time it rains, the gate needs adjustment as it’s hard to open at times due to dragging on the ground/rocks. Seems like sparse area to me but I’ve not visited other dog parks to see if there are stimulating activity or agility areas but that would be nice.
Overall my pup likes it and I will take him when it’s dry. 😊
It’s okay… Good enough for the dog to get out and explore something different, but it definitely needs some love. It’s usually muddy and people do not clean up after their dogs. There are two areas, one for big dogs and one for little dogs. A couple of benches and a picnic table for the humans.
