Today was my first visit to this park and I loved it. Took my dog and we walked all over the trails and made our way to the water and sat and just enjoyed the view. After a while we headed back and laid out on a blanket in the grass and enjoyed the day. The dog parks are huge and there is tons of room for the dogs to play. They even had an agility course for the dogs. It was my first trip but it won’t be my last.
This park is one where I love to go and so does my 13year old and my 6year old!!!! That is impossible these days lol. There is a straight trail right to the water. The walk is decent as far as a walk for health reasons for me, but not too long that my 6year old can’t do it. There are other trails where you can mountain bike but we haven’t done that yet. There is one trail that has workout equipment alone the way. There is a pond. And also a playground. Love it!
Beautiful spot to play with your pup. Do check the tide level before coming. During high tide you’ll be pushed back into the marsh with not much beach for your pup. Wear proper shoes as the ground can be very soft and mushy (flip flops can get stuck!). During the summers there’s quite a bit of mosquitoes from the amount of standing water in the wetlands on the walk to the beach.
The park is lovely , nice scenery a lot of nature, only downside a lot of bugs, the beaches eroded it’s literally like 10ft of sand
It’s a beautiful experience at this small park. It’s well-lit, and the path to the beach feels like walking into paradise. The crisp blue of the ocean is stunning as you approach, and the view of the beach, along with the overall ambiance, makes it a wonderful place to escape.
