Gene King park is delightful forest hiking/walking path tucked away off of Washington Valley Road. The gravel lot has plenty of parking, and there is also a small picnic pavilion.
The 0.5 mile loop trail is suitable for all ages. There are also connector trails leading to S Shore Drive (Sunset Lake neighborhood) and Papen Road.
