Each vehicle has to buy their own spot. Bathrooms terrible. Dirty and no paper : very strict rules. Not much to do but the lake. Typical state park, taking your money and not offering much.

This is one of my favorite spots to camp. Great lake and hiking trails, nice sites, convenient. This weekend is probably my last time. I stayed 2 weekend ago as well as this one. Both times music blasts anywhere from 9pm to 2:30am (2 weeks ago) and last night midnight to past 330am from somewhere nearby, not in the park. Awful booming weird tribal music so loud you can feel the bass. If nothing is done about it, this place will be gone. Everyone here is PISSED

I camped here mid-September and it was interesting. There were limited sites available due to an ongoing renovation. The sites that were available were just ok – they were close together so privacy was very limited. Due to the close proximity of sites, it was easy for the space to get noisy. The restrooms could also use some TLC. With that being said, it’s still a beautiful park and I’m hopeful that the ongoing renovations will be great so I plan on returning in 2026 and giving the other side of the campground a try.

Getting worse, not impressed. Last couple years they are closing half the campground so you have people crowding, right next to you when you’re trying to “get away” it’s just not the best place for that at all. Kinda makes me sad bc when I was here 10 years ago it was much nicer. Camp store has never been open since I started coming.

Absolutely gorgeous park! We had a great night. Seems like a wonderful place to spend the hot summer days.

Awesome bathrooms and showers!

Very clean park.

VERY picturesque

We had a really bad storm last night and this pretty good sized branch fell about 10’ from our tent. That was a bit scary we could have been hurt or killed.

The trails could use some maintenance. They’re great but easy to lose your way. This could have been because of the bad storm though.

Will definitely be staying again in the future.
