Several picnic areas, but the downtown portion doesn’t have a designated parking area. Trail is rough in several areas and the trash can be significant, but the views are worthwhile for a city trail.

It’s beautiful but it’s also sad I seen homeless people and drug paraphernalia on the actual trail 👀.

Disgusting. Residential Garbage and litter everywhere. Homeless and vagrants have encamped the entire trail. Needles and medical waste on the ground. Gross. Bangor City Hall, at the start of the trail and sharing the same parking lot, should be ashamed.

Do Not Walk Your Dog Here there are needles everywhere.
The trail itself is beautiful. Unfortunately it is not maintained by the city despite being so close.

Garbage and needles are scattered throughout the trail making it incredibly unsafe and turns a relaxing walk into a grim reminder of Bangor’s general drug and homelessness issue.

I love walking the stream path but the city needs to do a better job of keeping it clean. I can only pick up so much trash on my own 🙁
