Looooove this
My daughter got a rescue puppy over the summer, He’s a brindle lab mix
We found out about the dog park from a neighbor who invited us to bring our Bruno while he was taking his female pup ( she 2 is a mix breed/ pit bull mix, also a rescue pup)
They both enjoyed the dog park. Actually my first time ever experiencing a dog park.
There’s a space just for small fur babies that’s fenced in and separated from the larger fur babies. They even have a 💧 water fountain ⛲️ just for the fur babies ✅️✨️💫💛
Plenty of space for the fur babies to run freely and just be pups! Did i mention the seating for us humans to just sit and meet other fur baby parent. Actually met a few awesome fur baby owners and their fur babies

A bit messy/polluted, to the extent that I must constantly keep an eye on my dog to make sure that he does not eat any debris or material. We usually can get the park to ourselves during less common times, which is the primary benefit of this smaller and less well taken care of public dog park.

Only one other owner there on a Thursday afternoon which was fine for my 6 month old puppy. He mentioned there’s normally more owners there with large dogs. There are two separate parks large dogs or senior dogs but no area for small dogs. covid restrictions say only 5 at a time if I’m remembering that right, the park is big enough for social distancing with many benches.

My dog loved it and I thought it was decent besides the area that it’s in. A little sketchy. Pretty clean. Poop bags offered. Lots of room for my puppy to have the time of her life.

Came here last year with my dog infrequently but it was super clean and spacious for him. Today I came here and am disgusted. Bird poop everywhere and coating all of the four benches making them unuseable. The trash cans are so overfilled that there is a jenga tower of poop bags on the top. Not to mention a broken water fountain wasting a ton of water and creating a bird poop sewer creek that runs through one of the main gates. Was this park abandoned by the city? It’s so bad.

Good park, the pet owners are nice and respectful. With that said, be aware, there is a lot of 💩 around, and the water fountain in the large dog part (as of 3.12.25) is an operable. Regardless of these two things I think it’s a good park for a dog to go meet and play and run around and get their energy out
