We stayed in the preferred cabin #18 and loved it. The cabin was spotless and comfortable. Both bedrooms had plenty of room, the kitchen had everything we could have wanted and the air conditioning worked well. The screened in porch was a treat, so nice to sit and relax.
This is the 2nd time we’ve camped here and have enjoyed it. The scenery is beautiful. They’ve updated the facilities including the dump station. Easy access for our class c mother home which is 32’. One of the best parks in south eastern Ohio.
I dearly love this Park. I’ve camped, or rented cabins here for 15 years. Truly one of my favorite getaway places. Beautiful scenery, a peaceful lake and woods. Located 7 miles from Bainbridge OH. The Park is well maintained. They also have a nice camp store. Staff has always been friendly, and nice to talk to. Only down side is, there is no cell, wi-fi, or internet service in the Park. I’ve heard that T-Mobile is the only company that provides a signal here, but I can’t say that for sure, as I have Verizon.
Very peaceful little getaway!! Definitely more of a spot to relax and enjoy nature rather than a bunch of activities to do. (They do have paddle boats and Kayaks to rent) To call this a lake is a bit of a stretch, it’s essentially a large pond but pretty nonetheless. We stayed in a basic cabin for NULL a night. Beds were not comfy- very firm and springy (which is understandable for the price of the cabin, I’m just warning you to bring a mattress pad if you are hoping for a good sleep.) We hiked the Mitchell Ridge Trail – it was only 1.2 mile loop but it was STEEP! the trail map doesn’t indicate the elevation but it winds up to the very top of the hill shown in my first picture and then back down. Favorite part of the trip was that it was Gorgeous spot to watch the stars and listen to frogs at nighttime!
The store is open 9-5 and they have firewood for sale as well s’mores supplies, hot dogs, and games for kids like water guns.
Cabins were very nice. Clean and comfortable. One note, they don’t provide much for blankets and none in the bunks, be sure to bring your own bedding. No Verizon service.
