Our family dog Ellie Mae has always been strong willed, and we knew she would challenge J’Don. She is more cat than dog. Crate training her as a puppy was environmental disaster and unsuccessful. She ran outdoors and pulled hard on leashes. Well after a board and stay with J’Don with Paws For Christ she is now crate trained, leash trained, sits, stays, places and will sit at the door until you call her to come out. Thank you JDon, his wife Kristi for letting us enjoy our sweet girl with a NEW, less stubborn personality!
Such a great experience working with paws for Christ! This one on one training program taught my dog so much gave me the confidence I needed to keep the training going! I would highly recommend paws for Christ! In a short amount of time we have made so much progress and the bond with my dog is now stronger because she has become so obedient to the commands.
Lifesaver!!!! Omg!!!! We adopted a sweet girl that had lived her entire life at a shelter, a few weeks before she had her first birthday! She was super sweet- super smart- but had absolutely NO MANNERS, which was to be expected, but still significantly worse than we had planned on. JDon is a miracle worker!! We took him a sweet girl that was a WILD CHILD- and yesterday we picked up a sweet- well behaved girl that had literally been transformed.
She can sit- lay down- shake- stay- place- and heel. And she doesn’t jump at all anymore. A few times last night she ALMOST did- but I could literally see her “check herself” and instead of jumping on me/ she would sit!

Where do I start? My husband and I are the proud owners of the most stubborn, yet cute “puppy” that weighs almost 100 lbs. We both work so we were limited on time to be able to train Buford ourselves. I asked for recommendations on the book of faces like 95% of people do nowadays. Paws for Christ came highly recommended and I tell you they did not disappoint. We decided on a 5 week board and train. The difference between then and now is remarkable! I can walk Buford on a leash without him dragging me (🤦🏻♀️), and he does really good in public. I have been working with him after work each day and he does all of his commands instantly. I highly recommend JDon and Paws for Christ to everyone. If he can train our Buford, whew, he can train any dog. Thanks so much!
