The best place to take your pups to swim and play in Austin. Be prepared for large crowds March-October (especially on the weekends).

Cannot speak highly enough of this spot. A great place to cool off and escape the Texas heat. Parking at Zilker is free on weekdays unless it is a holiday or maybe a special event. Don’t get got, hit this free spot! Usually busy with plenty of dogs, off-leash, enjoying the water along with their respective owners and others enjoying the cool water. Bring a hammock, some food and drinks and take a dip.
