FAQ for Augusta Springs Wetlands Park in Augusta Springs Virginia:
So beautiful, relaxing, and peaceful.
A great loop trail in Augusta County. Great for walking, birding, walking with little kids and/or dogs. Some of the trail is a built up boardwalk that turns into dirt. Flat, easy walk and a great way to get in the woods for anyone.
Nice relaxing area to stop and check out. There are some very old cars in the woods that are neat to see. Hard to see some of the things (Spring House, Bottling Plant Foundation, and the Smoke House) in the summer from the overgrowth. Recommend going in the winter months.
What a beautiful nature trail and walk. Non strenuous walk, almost 2 miles with no hill climbing and a few benches along the way to sit and enjoy what you see. Close to the entrance are Picnic benches and 1 durable restroom( bring hand sanitizer, no running water, was well cleaned). This is handicapped accessible so I could bring any family member here. It was great to enjoy alone as well. Absolutely gorgeous views. I’m so glad I stopped.
Loved this park! The boardwalk was splendid with the sights and interpretative signs! We saw cute newts in the water! The upland trail was good for the heart rate going up to see lovely views! Will definitely be back to see the park in different seasons!
