Don Lash Park is a spacious and peaceful community destination in Auburn, Indiana, featuring a dedicated dog park area that is perfect for local pet owners. While the park itself is known for clean grounds, playground facilities, walking trails, and athletic amenities such as baseball fields, its dog park provides a fenced, members-only space for dogs to exercise off-leash safely. Visitors appreciate the pet-friendly trails and the convenient location for families to enjoy both nature and play activities.
The dog park at Don Lash Park stands out due to its required membership for access and secure fencing, ensuring a welcoming environment for dogs to play and socialize. Although the park offers abundant open space and picnic areas, reviews highlight limited natural shade, especially on hot days. There are plenty of parking spots, restrooms, and picnic pavilions available, making it easy for dog owners to relax while their pets enjoy the grounds. The scenic walking paths, lake views, and ongoing community events add to the appeal for residents seeking dog-friendly hiking and outdoor experiences near Auburn.
The park is clean and all the playground equipment is in good shape. The trail is very nice.
This is a nice park and not busy at all. My favorite thing is the awesome trails. There is a main one with a gorgeous view of trees all around, and then a smaller one. The main one has a nice decked bridge and a smaller wooden bridge. If I was a runner this wood be perfect. I guess you can call it Auburns little secret. It’s so peaceful on the trail.
It’s a small park not much to do there but if its for a kids ball game or just some rest then Im sure that this is the park for you. We rested well and moved on to the next place.
good place to take young children trails and a play ground and there are benches with throughout the trail and also picnic benches
Very small park. Definitely not a destination kind of park. But if you are around the block it’s an ok place to take the kids to play for a little while. It has a walking path through the woods. Could use some wood chips or filling because last time I took my kids their was quite a bit of mud. But it was nice to have a place close by to take the kids to burn off energy while visiting family.
