If you’re searching for a well-loved dog park in Auburn, California, Ashley Off Leash Dog Park stands out as a huge, grassy space catering to both dogs and their owners. Conveniently located just off I-80 on Auburn Ravine Road, this park is designed for all dog sizes with two separate fenced areas—one for small pups and one for medium and large breeds. There’s plenty of room to run, shaded spots for relaxing, benches for owners, and pet-friendly trails for a casual walk within the park’s grounds.
A unique highlight of Ashley Off Leash Dog Park is its water features; dogs can splash in plastic baby pools or even play near a seasonal waterfall and pond. Ample parking, restrooms for humans, and a friendly local crowd make this park a popular stop, especially for travelers to Tahoe. Owners appreciate the natural setting, social opportunities, and thoughtful amenities that make every visit enjoyable for pets and people alike.
Very nice park. There are two off the leash dog parks; one for small dogs and one for medium/big dogs. I like to take my minutures to the bigger park for fountain and water play. There is a great path to walk on in the bigger park too.
NOTE: one of my dogs breached the fence line in larger park (reason for 3 stars instead of 5).

I love this park! Offers shade, water, benches, plastic baby pools and a waterfall for the pups! Not a lot of water granted in the fall, but enough to cool off!
Very nice human park too with bathrooms! Good people good doggies! The ONLY dog park I take my baby to.

Our dog loves this park, although the water feature was dry this last visit.
Just off I80, this is a nice way to give the dog (and ourselves) a break on trips to Tahoe from the Bay Area.
Ample parking, a restroom for humans and a larger park and pond make for a nice stop.
