Ralston Park is one of Atwater’s most cherished green spaces, known for its abundance of shade, mature trees, and inviting picnic areas. While it is a great destination for families with children thanks to its playground and basketball court, pet owners will appreciate the park’s spacious and scenic setting for walking their dogs. The clean grounds and plentiful benches make it easy for dog owners to relax while their pets enjoy the outdoors.
Although Ralston Park does not have a specifically fenced dog area or designated amenities just for pets, it stands out as a pet-friendly location for leisurely strolls and casual play. The park’s variety of tables, shaded spaces, and large grassy areas make it ideal for dog-friendly meetups or simply enjoying sunny days in Atwater. Its prime location also means you’re close to other parks and neighborhood amenities.
Nice equipment for kids to play on. The public bathrooms are horribly gross.
Great time to be there for 4th of July festivities!
Nothing fanct it worked. Very pleasant and easy experience.
Only 4 stars because there was no restroom in sight for my 4 year old to use. Other wise the park is clean and the playground is too. There is a park across the street too. Lots of tables to eat at and benches. A small basketball court. It was a beautiful day and I enjoyed my time with my son there.
Yes this is a very beautiful Park. Lots of trees. Outdated playground. Had many family reunions at this park since I was a child. Been here for birthday parties. Lots of shade
