Great 1/4 laps around the park. Parking is good.

Cute park on the smaller side with few amenities, but better than no park at all. Good place to play soccer, but next to no parking. Best to have a parking plan before arriving, and you’ll need to give yourself 10 extra minutes just in case. No issues if you’re arriving by bike.

My rugby team plays home matches at Walker Park and the field is garbage. The main field is uneven, large patches of dirt and sand. When it rain well get ready for a georgia red clay bath. It’s really an injury hazard. Also No Porta John’s onsite. I wish the city of atlanta’s parks and rec department(Grant Park Station) or the contractor[s] would truly take care of every small to medium size park with natural grass in the south east section of Atlanta other than Grant Park.

Great park with a big open field, a pretty significant dog park, the city’s only legitimate street hockey court, and a solid playground. Grass has some bare patches, and the local park volunteer group seems to fo most of the upkeep; while I understand city personnel are limited and busy (not really their fault so much as lack of staff and sometimes funds), sometimes there feels like insufficient effort from the city toward upkeep. Still a great park, just could be even better.

We like taking our kids here for something different. It’s right by I-20 so you do hear the traffic noise a little bit but it’s not horrible. My kids love the slide equipment which Includes an “elevator” that they can ride down. There’s also a huge field that I’ve seen people play soccer or ultimate frisbee on. No bathrooms are here but there are some picnic tables if you want to do a little party or picnic.
