Free parking. I couldn’t see any restroom, there might be one across the park, at the baseball field. The map said 30 minutes trail but it took 40 minutes for me. Plenty of benches around the park. I’d definitely visit again!

Great place for a walk if there is not a ball game going on. During baseball season, the parking lots will fill up quickly.
Also a great place to go take pictures of the wildlife. All kinds of different Birds, Deer, and Otters. Also a great place to see birds you never see in Atlanta when they stop during migration.
Being a photographer, it’s a nice place to sit and wait for the next animal to come into range for a great picture.

Murphy Candler Park is a great spot to relax and enjoy nature. My family and I had a great time walking the trails, watching the lake, and just soaking in the peaceful vibe. It’s clean, well-kept, and has plenty of space for kids to play. Definitely a nice escape in Brookhaven!

It’s a quick walk around the park, but you can also do laps around it. There is plenty of wildlife to see out here. Storms that came through made the trail extremely muddy in certain areas. Power lines are low in some areas and on the ground in one spot. One big parking and a small on the other side of the park.

When I think of peace on earth Murphey Candler Park, comes to mind. It is a wonderful park with a lake in the city of Brookhaven, not far from Perimeter Mall. You feel the Lord’s presence all around from seeing the geese, turtles, heron and hearing frogs croaking. There are picnic tables to bring family and enjoy each other’s company. It’s a nice place to fish, ride bikes, play baseball, walk on the trails or simply enjoy the serenity of sitting by the lake. If you need a break from bumper to bumper traffic come to Murphey Candler Park, where there’s plenty of free parking and restrooms open to the public.
