Lenox Park is a peaceful neighborhood retreat in Atlanta, Georgia, known for its well-kept grounds, scenic walking trails, and vibrant wildlife—including ducks, geese, squirrels, and turtles. The park features paved, wheelchair-accessible pathways suitable for both running and dog-friendly hiking, making it a favorite among local dog owners and families alike. There’s a dedicated, fenced-in dog park area within the larger park for off-leash fun, allowing your pup to socialize and play safely. Shaded green lawns and picnic tables invite visitors to relax and enjoy this tranquil spot in the city.
While the park offers a picturesque lake with fountains and lots of space for pets and owners to explore, it does have limited or no public parking directly on-site, as most access is through nearby businesses and apartment complexes. Nevertheless, Lenox Park remains a top pick for those seeking a dog park in Atlanta’s Buckhead/Brookhaven area with access to pet-friendly trails, family-friendly amenities, and a welcoming community vibe.
Had a whale of a time here. The fountain in the middle of the lake is a sight for sore eyes, The ducks, geese, squirrels, etc provide a fun experience and the whole walking trail is exciting. The pine balls along the way are fun to play with and the trail, the bridges and the green lawns make the place a must visit neighborhood hangout. Looking forward to be back again!
I would love this park, however, the parking here is a huge issue. THERE IS NONE! There are a lot of businesses and apartment complexes nearby by I’m not running the risk of getting booted/ticketed. Going to look for something more accessible
A very nice park for the neighborhood! Very peaceful and clean and well kept. Love to see all the turtles in the spring/summer!
Nice and quiet park in the middle of the city.
Well maintained and properly designed pathways for running or walking. This park is good for all ages and is family friendly. 😇
There are a few fountains to keep the insects away. Some cleaning can help prevent any fallen leaves into the pond.
This park is pet friendly. There is a separate dog park within the premises 🐕
You can also spot geese during the spring and summer months.🪿
The only drawback to this park is that there’s no parking facilities near the premises.
Nice park, wish the trail was longer but it’s very scenic and relaxing to lay in the large grass field
