Kirkwood Dog Park in Atlanta, Georgia

Kirkwood Dog Park is a popular dog park nestled under large, shady trees right off the Beltline in Atlanta, GA. This pet-friendly Atlanta dog park features two separate runs for large and small dogs, making it ideal for both big pups and smaller breeds to enjoy safe, off-leash fun. The park is well-maintained and covered with mulch, providing soft footing, and it’s a fantastic spot for locals and visitors alike to connect with fellow dog owners.

Amenities at Kirkwood Dog Park include running water for dogs, shaded areas, and a welcoming collection of tennis balls and throwers at the entrance. Nice open space under the trees. Mosquitos are pretty bad so bring big spray. Great way to meet neighborhood dog lovers – like you!

As large as the big dog side is, some irresponsible owners opened the middle fence to join the 2 sides. 2 small dogs were bullied by the large dogs.

In the past, we’ve had an ok time here.

Great dog park. Clean, well maintained, with running water for dogs and large trees for shade.

It’s usually been empty when I’ve brought my dog, but it’s great when others are there. Hopefully it becomes more popular!

It can also be a bit buggy in the summer so bring bug spray.

Wonderful, shady, mulched park. Community collection of tennis balls and throwers near the entrance, and right off the beltline. Jealous I don’t live in this neighborhood!

both park runs are average sizes for the dogs. big enough for full off leash fun but not super big. there is a lot of glass and garbage in the small dog run. so that is a let down 😕
