Kirkwood Dog Park

Kirkwood Dog Park offers a welcoming space with separate runs for small and large dogs, providing full off-leash fun. The park is shaded with large trees and mulched areas, making it comfortable for dogs and owners. It is well maintained and clean, featuring running water for dogs. Community amenities like a collection of tennis balls and throwers add to the appeal. However, some caution is advised due to occasional glass/garbage in the small dog area, mosquito presence in summer, and occasional owner-misuse of fences between dog areas.
Reviews
Nice open space under the trees. Mosquitos are pretty bad so bring big spray. Great way to meet neighborhood dog lovers – like you!
As large as the big dog side is, some irresponsible owners opened the middle fence to join the 2 sides. 2 small dogs were bullied by the large dogs.
In the past, we’ve had an ok time here.
Great dog park. Clean, well maintained, with running water for dogs and large trees for shade.
It’s usually been empty when I’ve brought my dog, but it’s great when others are there. Hopefully it becomes more popular!
It can also be a bit buggy in the summer so bring bug spray.
Wonderful, shady, mulched park. Community collection of tennis balls and throwers near the entrance, and right off the beltline. Jealous I don’t live in this neighborhood!
both park runs are average sizes for the dogs. big enough for full off leash fun but not super big. there is a lot of glass and garbage in the small dog run. so that is a let down 😕
