Indian Creek Park

Indian Creek Park
Shade Available

Indian Creek Park is a small urban spot located in Buckhead, Atlanta. It is dog-friendly and wheelchair accessible, making it suitable for visits with children and pets. The park features impressive, tall old-growth pine trees and an abundance of bamboo, though the bamboo is considered invasive. While it offers a quiet place to relax, the park appears underdeveloped with dirt areas, no significant trails or paths, and limited amenities. Some visitors have noted maintenance issues such as trash and the presence of makeshift tents. Overall, it may serve as a brief stop for nature appreciation but is not fully equipped for regular or extended park use.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. wouldn’t be surprised if it would be used to dump a corpse.

The city of Atlanta thinks that by putting up a cute sign in the (most sketchy and suspicious looking) entrance, they magically built a park. Well.. no. It doesn’t work that way. You actually need to do something to having it called a park.

This is a park the same way a cat is an automobile. It’s got great bamboo however which is nice but the rest is just dirt. When I went someone had made a tent out of the bamboo and was living in it. So I guess someone has found the place suitable.

Trail to nowhere… avoid! I don’t know if this is in the city planning to build up in the future but what looks like the entrance of a nice hike is just that. It doesn’t go anywhere. You start walking and then you bump into this… definitely don’t recommend it.

Start of a lovely park but not quite ready for regular use. Amazing old growth pine trees over 100 feet tall. Infestation of bamboo that needs to go; it’s not a plant common to North Georgia and its aggressive like kudzu

Very small but great spot to relax and decompress. Very impressive and you wouldn’t think it’s in the heart of Buckhead. 4 stars because some trash needs to be removed
