One of the most convenient and popular dog parks in the area. Which means that ex: antisocial folks with dogs who are weird about their balls like to act like your dog is crazy if it interacts with them. It’s a good place to socialize your dog but there is often drama between dog owners .. if you have a smaller dog in the park, Don’t pick it up when a larger dog is investigating it!!! This increases the likelihood that your dog will get aggressive because it is restricted and the other dogs will jump up! I thought this was basic dog knowledge but I can’t Tell you how many times someone is running away from me and my dog and the human is spinning and panicking. And my dog isn’t aggressive at all, it’s a terrible practice that is so common. It takes the community to help staying calm and having knowledge about leash aggression etc
Wonderful new dog park! The parking can be super challenging on a nice day. There are a few benches and picnic tables scattered throughout the park, but they really need more. It’s very open, so it will be hot during the summer. Hope to see more seating in the future!
Love everything about this park! Huge open space with lots of nooks and crannies for all the dogs to find. There’s a little creek, a couple of bridges, wide open space, lots of shady treed areas and tons of benches for people to sit. Swings too! Love all the birds and squirrels running around. Girls loved chasing them. The trails are nice all around the perimeter, including a huge covered patio are with tables for a picnic gather or puppy party!
This park is really nice and huge for a dog park. My pup absolutely loved all of the space to explore. When we went it wasn’t crowded and I can tell the dogs will have a great time in the summer because it looks like they have a small water area with sprinklers. We will come back!
The park looks great with the new renovation. The dog park size is very huge. There is also a lot of parking spaces and the renovated kids park looks really fun for the kids. Restrooms are available.
