Collins Park is a well-maintained, quiet green space located at 19 East Rd in Atkinson, New Hampshire. Known as a hidden gem among locals, this park features manicured open fields and a scenic, easy-to-navigate dirt trail around the perimeter—perfect for those seeking dog-friendly hiking or gentle strolls with their pets. While the loop isn’t long, it’s ideal for quick walks or multiple laps, and its mostly flat terrain (with just one notable hill) makes it accessible for most visitors.
Dog owners will appreciate the park’s open layout, pet-friendly trails, and peaceful environment. Amenities include benches and at least one picnic table, offering comfortable spots for owners to relax and watch their dogs play or simply enjoy a lunch outdoors. Although parking is limited, those who find a spot will enjoy a tranquil dog-walking experience in this underutilized Atkinson park.
What a nice and well manicured track to walk the dogs. Wasn’t a very big loop so you can do as many or as little as you want.

The small trail is icy in spots and very slushy in other spots. I would suggest a good pair of waterproof boots if you plan on walking here in the near future.

Clean, nice open fields, has a few nice benches as well. One decent sized hill, but the rest is all quite flat which makes it great for sports!

April 2017 The park at this time is quiet. I love to walk my dog around the worn dirt trail around the perimeter of the field. The kids play sports on the field in nicer weather. It’s a nice park that is convenient for me and my dog.

Really lovely park that even has a few benches and a picnic table for eating. Saw a few families with dogs, but otherwise it was empty. Great lunch spot!
