Willow Park, located on S 15th St in Ashland, PA, is a popular spot for families and dog owners alike. While it’s known for its historical Pioneer coal mine and steam train experiences, the park also offers open fields where pets can enjoy some outdoor time. This dog park in Ashland, Pennsylvania is not a specifically designated or fenced dog park, but the open grassy areas make it a pleasant place for casual walks and pet-friendly recreation.
Park amenities include a playground for kids, picnic tables for relaxing, and a snack stand that’s renowned for its hot dogs. There are also separate restrooms available for visitors, making it convenient for owners spending extended time at the park. The parking doesn’t have any structure. It’s wherever you can find room in the grass. The field looks nice. There is a snack stand that serves hot food. I haven’t gotten anything to eat there, though I’ve heard the Hot Dogs are very good. There are separate bathrooms.

Very cool. Pioneer coal tour was great! Buy both tickets for the mine tour and the steam train. All the people there are very knowledgeable and you can learn a lot about history and the way the coal is mined and transported
