Located on Briggs Lane, the Ashland Dog Park is a favorite among locals and travelers alike. This expansive, fully fenced dog park features separate large and small dog areas, making it a safe and welcoming spot for pups of all sizes. The park is known for its friendly atmosphere, mature shady trees perfect for relaxing, and grassy open spaces ideal for games of chase and fetch.
Ashland Dog Park stands out with its access to a nearby creek, offering a refreshing spot for dogs during hot Southern Oregon summers. Owners enjoy plenty of seating under shady trees, water for both dogs and people, and walking trails that wind along the river, making it great for those seeking dog-friendly hiking options. With a robust community of responsible pet owners and an inviting landscape, it’s a top pick for anyone searching for a dog park in Ashland, Oregon.
I love this park because there are big shady trees perfect for parking yourself in and relaxing while your doggos play with their best friends. Bring a beverage and a book, you could easily wile an afternoon away.
Definitely the better park around. The creek is a huge benefit on hot days!
One wish would be to add an agility training area with obstacles of varying degrees of difficulty.
Great big dog park. Families seem good watching their dogs. All very friendly. Also has a small dog section that is separate from the big dogs.
The best park in Ashland for any dog! My dog is senior and we walk the trail around the park and hang out on the grass instead of partaking in the high energy dog park.
Great dog park Large fenced area for active dogs, mostly grassy allowing dogs to get hood runs and games of chase, with enough space to separate dogs into various groups of play. There is shade, water, and walking trails along the river at the far end of dog play area if you exit from that end. Small dog play area is next to large fenced area.
I was traveling through Ashland on a Ling road trip, and really glad I found this park. My dog had a blast. Will definitely stop again when in the area.
