If you’re searching for a spacious and welcoming dog park in Ashland, Massachusetts, Ashland Recreation Comm is a must-visit spot for local dog owners and families alike. This pet-friendly park features well-maintained fields, wheelchair accessible paths and parking, and is known for its peaceful, family-friendly vibe. Regulars highlight the paved walking paths around the soccer fields—perfect for dog-friendly walks—plus open areas where children can play while pets enjoy their exercise time.
The park stands out for its easy access off Route 135, decent parking, and a mix of amenities for both kids and adults, including a small playground near the entrance and public restrooms. While the park is praised for its cleanliness and tranquil atmosphere, visitors recommend bringing your own supplies to help with cleanup, as additional trash bins would be helpful. You’ll also find spaces for cookouts and plenty of shade, making it a prime destination for a relaxing outing with your furry friend.
Clean, just family’s, nice place for the kids and sports for the kids.
Very beautiful and peaceful place but somebody needs to pick up all the trash Everytime I go there is more and more trash I pick up most of it everytime I go but maybe more trash cans can help. I still love it here so trash or no I will be back.
Well maintained fields, decent parking and a great center. Easy access off 135 adds up to a destination area.
Great place too swim, cookout, and pet friendly.
There is a small structure for ages 5-12 at the entrance near the soccer fields. My daughter is 3 and 1/2 and she can handle the tube slides, she just couldn’t do the rock wall or the poles. There is a narrow paved path that goes around both soccer fields which is a nice walk around as well.
