This is a spectacular small preserve with a creek and deep deep ravines. Very nice well maintained trails. My dog approves very much.

Did the shortest trail. It was pleasant even in the 95 degree heat. Cant wait to try the longer trails on another day. Image is of my sons on the connector trail.

Very enjoyable moderate difficulty trail under woodland cover and creek view and access, including a dam. Once you’re .5 miles in, you only hear nature.

The website shows 3 trails, they have added two more and looks like even more is being done. New just opened in 2023, great for all ages and is moderate hiking, some hills but all easy to walk. Streams and a Dam. Great for the family, a walk with the dog or just a day out. If you are going to the NC Zoo just a few miles away. If you enjoy hiking or just a walk this is a hidden Gem in Asheboro!

Beautiful trail, so happy to have a nice place like this to go to. It’s an easy to moderate trail with some steeper hills to go up and down but a really lovely peaceful place to hike!
