This location provides easy access to the scenic W&OD Trail, a popular destination for dog lovers who enjoy walking and hiking with their pups in a friendly, welcoming environment. There is plenty of parking available—ideal for larger vehicles—though it does fill up quickly, especially on weekdays. Parking off Pacific, near 28, is being eaten up by workers from the new building that just went up. Grrr. Tried parking at Belmont. It’s small and sunny. But it has a Johnny!
Great trail! Just know when ur passing people to speak up. Accidents can happen if you’re not paying attention.
Convenient tools and rest spot. No natural shade. Air pump probably needs a new head or the head needs some maintenence… it broke my valve stem. Figured I’d leave a review while waiting for a ride…
Used for a quick little walk, had a mercedes sprinter 3500 an was actually able to use a parking space so overall good parking however limited parking as it was mid day during the week I’m sure this lot overfills quickly. Porta John nice trail access. Seemed great.
Starts for: plenty of spots, a port-a potty, an informational sign about Belmont Ridge, and picnic tables.
Would be great if they could add a trail map sign that shows distances to rest stops and road crossings, and even better would be some shade for hot months or storms and a tree or some flowers or something else pretty to look at. And a water fountain with a dog fountain.
