Kennedy Park is a vibrant, pet-friendly oasis located at 104 Grand Ave in the heart of Asbury Park, NJ. Known for its welcoming atmosphere, this park is great for dog owners, families, and anyone looking to enjoy the outdoors in a peaceful, clean environment. The park is highly accessible with wheelchair-friendly entrances and parking, making it a convenient stop for everyone.
This dog-friendly park features open green spaces, and regularly hosts exciting community events like farmers markets, pop-up shops, live music, and artisan markets. With amenities like nearby parking, accessible paths, and a playground for kids, Kennedy Park is a favorite destination for pet owners and families seeking a relaxed day out in Asbury Park.
A recommended local playgrounds. I like it here.
peaceful and clean park. i bring the kiddos here from time to time especially in lull days. it’s also very safe here at night
Kennedy Park is where our Pop Up Shop is! Love Asbury Fresh that is in the park every Saturday & Sunday in Spring Summer and Fall. There is always live music, local shopping, and farmers!
Always great events held here ! I would have given 5 stars yet for such a fine location and great events the park itself could use a little love and care considering what it gives to the community . Maybe some grass seed and a few more flower boxes besides the lovely asset Cross and Orange have out that line the right side of the park on Cookman Ave . Side note – Cross and Orange is excellent and right next to the park . You can’t beat the local summer – fall market Asbury Fresh for artisan goods and organic freshness.
On Fridays they have a farmer’s market that is open late, at least until 8 or 8:30 which is when I visited. It’s such a treat to find a market open this late. There are less than a dozen vendors but there’s still a good variety: organic veggies, coffee roasters, baked goods, handmade jewelry and more.
