Great neighborhood park, particularly for young kids Nice modern playground for kids 2-5 and 5-12.
Love this little gem of a neighborhood park. Really nice playground for the kids and lots of trees and a creek add to the natural appeal. There’s a big field to run and play on. The only downside is a few entitled people who treat it like a dog park and allow their dogs to run uncontrolled off leash. So kids afraid dogs and reactive dogs on leash need to steer clear. Not the park’s fault, just the fault of rude people.
A very nice park tucked away in a neighborhood. Parking is a real challenge as almost all surrounding streets are permit required. There is not a parking lot, but if you look closely you’ll find non-permitted street parking, just pay attention to all the street signs! This park would be a 5-star for me if not for the parking situation.
They have a nice sand pit – always my kids favorite spot – and a nice play set for the younger kids. The swings are separate from the other play structures and sit in sand, so it’s really a second large sand pit. There is also an excellent climbing structure for the older kids to enjoy. Plenty of picnic tables, a water fountain, and a large field to play in as well as a single basketball hoop on a half court. There is quite a bit of shade at this park which is always a big plus when it’s hot and sunny in the summer months.
Great for young and big kids. Clean and quiet. No busy streets and perfect for a picnic. Plenty of shade. Parking is limited on street.
