Virginia Highlands Interim Dog Run

Virginia Highlands Interim Dog Run is a moderately sized dog park in Arlington, VA, offering an off-leash area suitable for games like fetch. While it may not be the largest, it provides a decent space for dogs to play freely. Maintenance seems to be community-driven, with local users pitching in to keep the park clean and functional, despite some challenges with upkeep by county officials.

Arlington county does not do anything to keep yhis up. A few fellow friends and I will try to clean it up and redistribute the gravel, but we don’t have the tools for it. I have to put in numerous work orders before anything gets done. That said, it’s 20x better than the ‘dog run’ at HQ2 (which is a joke).
Pretty good dog park with off-leash area. Not the biggest, but enough space for some fetch.
