Tuckahoe Park: Family and Dog-Friendly Oasis in Arlington, Virginia

Located in the heart of Arlington, Virginia, Tuckahoe Park is a neighborhood favorite offering a variety of amenities for families and their furry friends. While best known for its kid-friendly playgrounds featuring slides, swings, picnic tables, and a unique round configuration with artificial grass, it also provides pet owners with several walking trails perfect for dog-friendly hikes. Hands down, my son’s favorite park in Arlington. I like the round configuration, the artificial grass, the benches and picnic tables… It has great playground, including slides, swings… And for the early bikers, the park has a few short trails to practice. On top of that, there’s a couple of (lighted) tennis courts.Street parking is usually pretty straightforward..The only downside is that there’s no restrooms, so plan accordingly

This place is more for k and up but they are baby swings for little ones. Their fake grass is also good for baby walking in progress.
This place is a plus for a day after rain where other playgrounds might be muddy. They also have small natural walks trails and pickle ball court.
