Marrow Bone Spring Park offers a unique experience for outdoor-loving pet owners in Arlington, Texas. This park is known for its extensive trail system that connects with Vandergriff Park, providing plenty of opportunities for dog-friendly hiking and walking. With a tranquil and open environment, it’s a great option for those seeking quiet walks away from more crowded urban parks. The park is well-suited for walkers, cyclists, and skaters, and its paved trails are suitable for leashed pets.
While Marrow Bone Spring Park does not feature a traditional fenced-in dog park, it provides ample space for you to enjoy time with your canine companion on the trails. Nearby amenities also include a skate park, a swimming pool (not pet-designated), and playground areas within Vandergriff Park, enhancing its appeal for families. Please note that reviews mention concerns about cleanliness and safety, so visiting during the day and remaining attentive is advised. Convenient parking and a nearby food mart make visits easy for families and pet owners alike.
There are way too many aggressive homeless people around. The city of Arlington needs to address this issue.
Trash and dog shit everywhere. Lots of potential if the city would clean it up.
Marrow Bone Spring Park is an awesome Park, it goes all the way back to vandergriff Park. This park is conjoined with vandergriff Park, it has a big skate Park, swimming pool, and playgrounds! It’s good to hike around in or just hang out at.
Good place to walk around, the food mart is convenient, I read the reviews of a “particular crowd” however I must miss that crowd or arrive before they show up, I generally see a police car here and on occasion offer a powerade or something to drink. Its important to stay hydrated.
Very quiet and empty of just about everyone today, due no doubt because of the cold and threat of rain. This park is a Trail Park, not the usual kind where you will find, kids, teens, and adults having quinceaneras, cook outs and playing or fishing. Just walkers, cyclists, skaters, and skateboarders.
