This park has had a bunch of renovations the last two years. The playground equipment is much safer now with a modern surface, and a diverse set of equipment that appeals to kids with different sensory needs. They’ve also added additional benches.
A great place for family gathering and calm afternoon with children. There is plenty of space to just relax and lay back but also enough for children to stay busy. Parking is relatively close and plenty of it. Restrooms are available and super clean.
The park was clean and mostly well kept. The tables had bird poop on them. I’d bring a towel or tablecloth if you were going to eat there. We did not find a lot of walking trails. It was enough for a simple walk. We retraced our steps twice and it was about 2 miles. There was a playground and the kids were having fun.The bathroom was clean enough for a park bathroom..
This is a large park with multiple fields. The baseball fields are in very good condition, bleacher seating is available, or you can bring your own chair and sit along the baselines. Parking is ample and the portable public toilets are clean and well maintained. What I like most about the baseball fields is that the spectators are protected by a web netting which allows a great view of the game. A lot of parks use thick black wire fencing which can make viewing the games problematic.
There was free parking when we went and we Went there to take a walk. It was nice and quiet, clean the kids where able to ride their bikes. I didn’t notice any bathroom facilities except the porta potty. Took some great pictures while over there. The kids had fun!
