Can’t speak to the details of the property because I ended up not staying there due to changing plans. However I had made a non-refundable booking and I was canceling on the day of reservation not expecting any refund, but hotels.com prompted me to request a refund and the motel gave me 50% which I thought was more than reasonable.

Felt like a diamond in the rough. After getting caught in a storm and sleeping in the car with our dogs the night before we found this hotel on our way through.

Such a hidden gem along a beautiful route! Spacious clean rooms with legendary service. We had no issues with checking in with 3 dogs and felt like we were staying with family. We will stay here again and again.

The customer service here deserves a negative star review. The lady that manages it I guess came out and told me I cannot use the vending machine during summer hours. That is Reserved for” Guests only” If I’m using the vending machine, am I not a guest? so she is too lazy to fill the vending machine when I use it and I’m guessing she doesn’t want my money either. I knocked on the door after she talked to me at the office and she would not answer the door. I stayed in the room here and it was dusty. You could tell it has not been cleaned thoroughly and the room I was in smelled terribly of cigarette smoke. I would not stay here ever again. I would rather stay in my car.

The bed was comfortable and the room was as clean and well kept as a motel that age can be. There was plenty of hot water and the pressure was great. The woman at the front desk was delightful. My only complaint is that the walls were thin. Cars arriving, people talking, neighbors showering, etc. all sounded really loud.
