We love stopping at this playground as a halfway point.

Some nice shade trees over picnic tables and a large playground under the sun! My kids are 8 and 9 currently (June 2021). We usually take a picnic snack with us when we go. We also take the dog but I’ve got to remember to bring a chain to hook her onto so I’m not holding her leash while trying to play with the kids. I wish they had dog lead hook up spots randomly in the grass. We always have a blast when we go. My girls love to play outside and having the obstacle course type of playground on the “plastic side” is great for them. We typically go to both the “plastic side” and the “metal side” because my girls can’t get enough of the merry go round.

There are lots of Texas Style playground equipment. From what I call Real Slides, and some rubber plastics as well. It has an good amount of things 4 anyone to do. Even party reservations can be made of it. This is an Very Nice Texas park.

It’s just a basic small town park. It has an unfinished nature trail, a lot of old play equipment, one decent playground near the baseball diamonds, a very small pond with bridge, one large pavilion with electricity, one covered picnic table, one dirt bottom medium pavilion, a pivoting covered grill, a Poke Stop, and a Poke Stadium. The bathrooms are present, but locked unless you contact the city to request they be unlocked for your event.
