This park is genuine and natural. The restroom is just a box. You may find tennis field, football field but not a playground with the swings or slides for kids. There is a trail for a walk and after couple of steps you will find a pond full of little fishes, turtles – this is unexpected, because I have never seen a pond with the turtles in the nature. It is great area to observe, relax and teach kids about the nature, science and sustainable life. Further you will find cycling trail.

This community park in Fairfax offers a serene environment with trees and trails for people to relax in nature or engage in activities such as hiking, jogging, running, or cycling. During my visit, I saw some people cycling on the well-paved trail. The park also has areas for picnics and a playground for kids. The parking lot has accessible parking spaces. The park is located in a hilly residential area within the city, which makes it easily accessible to people.

A cute little park bordering a paved walking and bike trail. Father up the path are some ball fields and a community garden area, as well as a small pond. The playground has swings, two sizes of play area with a bigger one for big kids and a smaller one for little kids and a set of animals on springs they can ride. There is a creek nearby and a decent sized parking lot. Only one picnic table at the play area but there are a bunch by the ball fields under a covered gazebo. All in all a great little park.

A very beautiful park covers section of popular Gerry Connolly Cross County Trail near Mantua neighborhood. The park is adjacent to the ubiquitous Accotink Creek superb for hiking, jogging, biking and strolling all four seasons.

I’ve been coming here since I was a child. Charming path in the woods for walking, biking, jogging etc. There is a wonderful little pond full of frogs, fish and turtles. I sunburn easily so it’s a great way to stay in the shade as you exercise. There is a fun creek and puddles full of wildlife. So many neat things to explore with children. We enjoy the playground, the newly paved path, and the new picnic pavilion! They may need to add another trash can and a recycling bin.
