Ward Park is a charming, quiet neighborhood park located on Oakbrook Dr in Ann Arbor, perfect for families and pet owners. This dog-friendly park in Ann Arbor is wheelchair accessible and features picnic tables, making it ideal for relaxing afternoons, casual strolls, and even a quick bite with your furry companion. The park is never overcrowded, offering a peaceful escape for locals and their dogs, as well as a safe, welcoming space for kids with its play structure and swings.
While known for its tranquility and accessibility, Ward Park does not have a designated off-leash area or fenced dog enclosure, so leash laws apply for your pets. Off the beaten path. Has a picnic table for lunch or dinner.
Small little neighborhood park with a playground. Great for the kids in the apartments nearby.
Nice little park to take the kids for the play structure and swings. Could use some new mulch this year but other than that it’s a quiet place with very little use so it’s never overcrowded.
Cute and quiet park. The kids and I go there all the time when they get home from school. It’s never crowded. The only thing I would recommend is putting new mulch down. Other than that, it’s a great park.
A very decent park!!! A little small…so my kids weren’t super excited to get out of the car….but once they did they enjoyed!!! We also took a short nature walk!!! We did see lots of poison ivy on the walk….so it was a good time to point it out to our kids
